Just found out one of my heroes in the storm chasing world, Kelley Williamson, was killed in a crash today while chasing outside of Spur, Texas.
Randy Yarnall, fellow chaser and Weather Channel member along with Williamson, was also killed.
I can only assume Yarnall was driving, as he usually is on episodes of Storm Wranglers. Whoever it was ran a stop sign and hit another chaser by the name of Corbin Jaeger. Unfortunately he was also killed.
Three chasers dead by an avoidable tragedy. I’m at a loss.

It is pretty safe to say that statistically careless driving kills more people than tornadoes. Still it’s sort of unexpected given their work.
